lesson is dramatized as well just to engage
all children’s senses and cherish the idea of
language immersion. InMAŁA LINGUAwe take
our children on a journey to a magic world
– Livendell. Wewant the pupils to understand
that they learn the language in order to
communicate with the world and we wish
to show them that they really can do it since
their first day in one of our schools. When
children follow the Blabbers’ travels around
Europe, they learn a lot about other cultures,
languages, customs, they become citizens
of theworld.
MAŁA LIGUA DRAMA PROJECT is a year-long
program divided into stages inwhich children
prepare for staging a real live performance
in the theatre. The idea of combining drama,
everyday
communicative
phrases
and
inspirational travels is what makes MAŁA
LINGUA so special andeffective.
Ourphilosophy
In MAŁA LINGUA, the specialized network of
language schools for teachers and teenagers,
Teachers, Teacher Trainers and School
Owners work together to create an inspiring
educational environment in which pupils
learn languages while taking part in projects
developing their general knowledge and skills.

as a teacher, I think that there is nothingmore

Welcome toLivendell

how to teach, insteadof why to teach. Various
techniques, games, modes and teaching
materials may eclipse the core intention of
teaching a language. Methods chosen ad hoc,

than good. That iswhy, we should stop thinking
of the quantity of diverse activities introduced
during a lesson, and we should begin to think
of thequalityof theactivities towhichwewant
toexposeour students.
Answering the question why to teach seems
relatively easy. Let’s consider parents’ point
of view. What is the parents’ biggest dream
when their children start learning a language?
Communication. This is all they want. When
choosing a language school each parent
wants their child to be able to exchange a few
words with peers and adults while on holiday
or a tripabroad.
The MAŁA LINGUA method was created
in response to the wish. Children learn in
the atmosphere of friendliness, they are
surrounded by a fairy tale world, and their
natural talents are discovered. Teachers use
variousdrama techniques, the content of each
